Cruise activity
in the port of Sete


Thanks to important investments, both in promotion and infrastructures, the port of Sete is seeing a significant increase of the cruise activity.


The port of Sete received 36 calls  of cruise ships in 2016: 
+ 16 % compared to 2015.


23,791passengers were welcomed: + 17 % compared to 2016. 


46 calls with nearly 45,000 passengers are expected in 2017.

The event was widely covered by the local newspapers and TV Channel.

The ship will call 3 more times in 2016: on July 9, August 26 and October 20.

Cruise Club and port of Sete at Seatrade Global

The port and Cruise Club exhibited inside the French Pavilion during the Seatrade Global in Fort Lauderdale.


Emblematic venue for the cruise industry, this event gathers all the stakeholders of the sector: cruise companies, tour operators, ports, suppliers, press.


 The main assets of the call at Sete were highlighted:  originality and authenticity of the destination, as well as  quality of port equipments and services.


Next major cruise venue for the port : Seatrade Med,  20-23 September, in Tenerife.




48th General Assembly of MedCruise


The port of Sete and the Cruise Club attended the 48th GA in Odessa, from 22 to 25 June, 2016. In addition to the usual agenda including workshops, B to B meetings with cruise lines executives, networking, etc., the calendar of events featured the celebration of MedCruise 20th anniversary.
